Allen and Sharie built more than 40 wooden
boats, and sailed their creations across the Pacific several
times–always returning to their beloved islands in the Strait
of Georgia.
Their convictions about living in harmony
with their surroundings, and their unhurried, hospitable years
on the sea, have kept them happy, healthy and sailing well into
their 80s.
