George Quocksister Jr.

Tsahaukuse, George Quocksister Jr. is a Hereditary Chief of the Laichkwiltach Nation and the son of Elizabeth and George Quocksister. He is a passionate advocate for the protection of wild salmon as a crucial part of his culture and the food security of his people, and is working to ban the practice of salmon farming on the west coast. He lives in Campbell River, BC.
