About the Author(s)

Judy Larmour is a heritage consultant specializing in social, agricultural and architectural history. For over 20 years, she has been involved with research for many projects in Alberta, including the Provincial Historic Site at Dunvegan, the John Walter Museum in Edmonton and the restored NWMP Detachment Building in Canmore. Judy is a regular contributor to Legacy magazine. Judy lives on a farm at the foot of the Medicine Lodge Hills, west of Bentley, Alberta.
